Specialized ShanghaiSpecialized 闪电中国上海店
A month a go I went to the Specialized bike store with some Chinese rider friends. The manager Simon (a.k.a @刀疤川 ) is also a rider friend.
It is said to be the biggest bike shop in Puxi, quite well-equipped.
Love the photos they hung on the walls. I especially like this one. ↑ (Damn I want to have one too!)

Airwalk ShanghaiAirwalk死飞上海店
Alright. So big news – I’m getting my own fixie. On Tuesday I checked out Factory 5 and then Saturday I went to Airwalk Shanghai.
Didn’t get my chance to talk to the staff before the GQ journalists finish their work. Quite a popular place! As I was talking and taking pictures, cute guys just keep coming in with their fancy bikes that at one point it became very hard to concentrate on my bike hunt.
This one belongs to one of them. ↓ The owner of this bike is very low profile and decided to have his friend taken with the bike rather than himself.

好啦，终于我也要买自己的死飞了！周二去了Factory 5，这次去的是上海 Airwalk 。
一进去，里面有俩GQ的记者在采访拍照。看来很有影响力啊！走了以后终于轮到我。一边聊着拍着，一边就有帅哥靓车进进出出，搞得我魂不守舍不能专心配车。

Factory Five & My First Night Ride
Just came back from my first night ride with the gang. Met lots of interesting people.
Finally took a pic for Tyler. And that’s 48×15 Vol. 2 he’s holding.
And I just had to get some biking spirit for myself…

Night ride starts!
And guess what, we’ve got a tricycle (rickshaw?) ↑ and a tandem bike ↓
We biked pretty far (probably NOT so for many). I was almost exhausted from the pedalling a few times on the way because my non-fixie bike has small wheels and gears. But thanks to the timely stops in between, I made it all the way 🙂
