“The automobile industry is one of the main promoters of bicycle helmets. And Why? It’s simple. The bicyle is a real and immediate threat to the dominance of car culture in the cities.”
Exactly my point: wearing a helmet is telling people that we feel vulnerable and weak as cyclists. Bikers of a true livable city should not live in such fear.
The idea was to stop at every Lawson (convenience store) that’s on the ride route and get a beer. I never noticed there’re so many Lawsons downtown!
↓ Just arrived (I was late). Everyone started drinking already.

Sat. morning 9:00 started from Huaihai Rd. Fenyang Rd. on a 45km ride (roundtrip 90km!) to Xinchang Old Town. Braving through 0-2 °C all the way!
Aftermath: I was paralysed
Ready to go!

Yep, that’s me passing by one of the old watertown house. (It is now the profile pic of CityBikr Facebook page)
The ride home was exhausting. On the final few kilometers, my only living wish is to see the sweet tip hole of SWFC tower again. And I’m soooo proud that I made it with just a simple city bike. 😉

Grab your bike and let’s ride together!现在天气这么冷，还有这么多人骑车。大爱啊！
Alright. So big news – I’m getting my own fixie. On Tuesday I checked out Factory 5 and then Saturday I went to Airwalk Shanghai.
Didn’t get my chance to talk to the staff before the GQ journalists finish their work. Quite a popular place! As I was talking and taking pictures, cute guys just keep coming in with their fancy bikes that at one point it became very hard to concentrate on my bike hunt.
This one belongs to one of them. ↓ The owner of this bike is very low profile and decided to have his friend taken with the bike rather than himself.
Finally the exact address: 242 Julu Lu, near Ruijiner Lu.
好啦，终于我也要买自己的死飞了！周二去了Factory 5，这次去的是上海 Airwalk 。
