Why We Shouldn’t Bike with a Helmet为什么我们不应该戴头盔骑车

“The automobile industry is one of the main promoters of bicycle helmets. And Why? It’s simple. The bicyle is a real and immediate threat to the dominance of car culture in the cities.”

Exactly my point: wearing a helmet is telling people that we feel vulnerable and weak as cyclists.  Bikers of a true livable city should not live in such fear.

我的观点正是这样：戴头盔等于是告诉所有人我们觉得自己是弱势群体。一个真正的适宜居住的城市的居民是不应该活在这种恐惧之中的。当然，中国的实际国情和丹麦还差得很远。

保险和汽车行业是自行车头盔的最大提倡者。为什么？很简单。自行车直接威胁到了城市汽车文化的主导地位。

（抱歉没有找到中文字幕。演讲者主要列举了一些数据说明了戴头盔没有降低反而甚至提高了危险系数。但最重要的是：头盔是一种恐惧的商业产物，而不是一种必须。而头盔的推广实际反而降低了骑车大众的数量和自行车的销量。）

Holiday Beer Bash!节日啤酒狂欢！

Saturday I had another awesome ride with the People’s Bike/Factory Five gang: my first ever BEER BASH!

The idea was to stop at every Lawson (convenience store) that’s on the ride route and get a beer. I never noticed there’re so many Lawsons downtown!

规则就是骑行路上遇到的每个罗森 （便利店）都停下来买罐啤酒喝（当然，也不是硬性规定）。结果一路十来个下来，发现市区的罗森真叫多啊。。。
